ANNA MARIA ISLAND

Anna Maria Island is one of Manatee County's barrier islands located between the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa Bay. Anna Maria Island is known for its fantastic views of the Bob Graham/Sunshine Skyway Bridge and is home to the largest public beach in Manatee County, Coquina Beach.

Anna Maria Island is 7.5 miles long and 2 miles wide stretching from the northern end of Longboat Key into the greater Tampa Bay area. Three beaches span across the coastline including Bradenton Beach to the South, Holmes Beach in the center and Anna Maria City to the North.

Anna Maria Island has a population of approximately 8,500 residents with an average temperature of 74.8 degrees and typical rainfall of 55.7 inches per year. Anna Maria Island is located 248 miles North of Miami, 119 miles South West of Orlando and 40 miles South of Tampa.
